Oracle Database Developer
8-10+ years of total experience
NYC office, MUST BE LOCAL, Hybrid NYC work schedule
6 months+ contract
Client: MUFG
The candidate will work closely with various development to further enhance the data warehouse and reporting elements of the platform.
Skills and Experience:
Required
Solid Oracle Development skills with 11g or later
Strong core PL/SQL knowledge along with a solid understanding of data warehousing design principles.
Control M knowledge for batch processing is strongly desired.
Experience of writing ETL Packages using SSIS is desired
Data Warehousing Design Experience and Kimball Methodologies
Experience of working within a large database development project team
Capital market data is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following :-
The ability to understand financial products and how they are reported on by Product Control and Finance department within an investment bank
Experience working on scheduling software such as Control-M
Prior experience of supporting internal management reporting (Trading data ) will also be considered as an advantage
