Linux Roles & Responsibilities Perform user administration, troubleshooting, and trouble ticket administration • Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively • Provide support and identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation for all issues and solutions • Support ticket classification, Re-prioritization, User clarification • Response to user queries based on known error database. Ticket escalation to the next level of support • Provide end user assistance in case of support requested by customer to address the technical issue. • Issue analysis, Identification of bug and the workaround. Response to functional queries, Understanding & analysis of user requirement for minor enhancements • Providing support for onboarding new users • Driving technical bridges for critical issues • Provide root cause analysis for the critical incidents and streamline the action plans to enhance the connected products availability and capacity. Responsible for incident resolution that includes end-2-end ownership of incidents from the time the issue been reported / triggered through closure / resolution for connected devices. • Conduct event analysis and document corrective actions, post defect resolution, to eliminate/minimize likelihood of reoccurrence and increase application performance. • Perform Gap analysis for reported issues and analyze ticket trend to provide permanent solutions, which helps in monitoring the application behaviors. • Collaborate with development team to troubleshot and resolve issues. • Provide assistance to engineers on performance tuning for critical areas • Creating alerts in alerting tool as well Microsoft alerts configuration • Creating JIRA dashboards for various purpose • Creating monitoring dashboards using different monitoring tools. • Delivery of services such as technical guidance, presentation, skills transfer monitoring enhancements, problem management • Develop web application visualization based on the requirements. • Development of new reports, dashboards, feature enhancement and tools per application demand and support production runs. • Code walkthrough and code review with engineering leads. • Recreate the production issue in production test environment for identifying the underline cause of the issue. • Identification of the repetitive task/incidents and automate them to minimize the impact. • Preparing python and powershell scripts for optimizing the application Azure resources and schedule it for continuous monitoring. • Working closely with development team for dev-ops activity and perform code deployment in staging and prod environment to improve the application performance and/or enhancement. • Render and publish HTML data HTML using Azure blob and CDN. • Facilitate Metrics & Reports to the Management on Incident & Problems for maintenance activity • Periodically doing health check and monitoring of the application logs availability into logging tools for incident troubleshoot. • Knowledge on the openshift environment for understanding the application infrastructure..
