Job Description:
Responsibilities
• Review/comment on Functional Specification Design (FSD) documentation.
• Participate in internal reviews of FSD, raise concerns/questions and make edits as appropriate.
• Install run time environment for QA testing purposes.
• Create test plan and test cases for QA testing.
• Perform QA testing - functional and regression including expected path, edge testing and error scenarios Participate in QA testing effort, including troubleshooting and reviewing logs for reported issues, apply defect fixes and provide software deployments.
• Develop test cases and test data using design docs, XML and Excel tools Provide Level of Efforts (LOEs) for Enhancement Requests/Change Requests.
• Daily Admin tasks: Attend project meetings, update documentation (Word, Confluence, Excel), ChangePoint, Coordination w/ DEV and other QA team members Creates test data and maintains regression test suites.
• Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches.
• Create and Maintain QA specific information related to each client solution Requirements 5 years’ experience in IT or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or other technical degree.
• Experience conducting QA for enterprise solutions.
• Experience in developing test plans and test cases based on functional design documents Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of PC applications and Windows OS. Database experience (SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL).
• Advanced knowledge/experience with VMware, SoapUI, XML, Apache TomCat, Excel (Macros, formulas, VB Scripting, etc), Notepad++ or other text editors, JIRA, Confluence Experience with batch processing/offline/blackbox testing.
• Prior experience in working in Automation Test Analyst role Expertise in Automation Frameworks (Robot Framework/Selenium) Expertise in Selenium and Java.
• Good experience in coding and Troubleshooting Hands on experience in Configuration management and Test Scripts management
• Good to have US Financial services industry, loan origination and/or application processing experience.
• Experience as a business analyst, QA analyst, programmer or technical support representative.
• Experience with Windows and Linux at the command line.
• Computer programming skills in any of the following: Java, .NET, LUA, Groovy, SQL, Ruby and C/C++/C#.

Job Description:
The Sandbox is an integrated Big Data and analytics platform. Our clients use this platform to understand consumer credit behavior and build models for credit decisioning, marketing and account review purposes. We are looking for an expert cloud engineer with in-depth knowledge on public cloud platforms & Big Data Analytics to help us run this peta-byte scale Big Data platform and provide the best possible experience for our clients.
What you’ll do here
· Responsible for continuous platform enhancements, upgrades, availability, reliability, and security of the Ascend Sandbox platform.
· Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Ascend Globe PAAS framework that automate the Sandbox provisioning.
· Lead the RnD for product features pertaining to Big Data and ML
· Provide end-to-end observability of our Ascend Sandbox platform.
· Responsible for resolving incidents reported by Sandbox users and take preventive actions.
· Help Sandbox users to improve the performance and optimize their MapReduce/Hive/Spark applications.
· Drive communication and collaboration with other Client Teams.
· Drive Architecture review with central Review Board as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
Must have skills
· 4-6+ years experience in Python with AWS/ Azure
· Hands on experience with Architecting Cloud based Solutions preferably in Big Data domain.
· Understanding of Linux , Networking fundamentals and Application security .
· Hands on coding experience with at least one language - Python, Shell, JavaScript etc.
· Hands on experience working with Azure cloud platform and infrastructure.
· Hands on experience with designing, creating and managing Rest APIs on cloud
· Hands On experience with ARM templates / Terraform for managing Infrastructure as Code
· Good understanding of DevOps and experience with at least one DevOps pipeline technology ( Azure DevOps / Jenkins )
· Experience with GIT
· Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
· Good experience with designing Product documentations and runbooks .
Nice to have skills
· Hands on experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
· Domain knowledge and hands on experience with ML & AI
· Hands-On knowledge of managing workspaces and clusters in Azure Databricks .
· Experience with Workflow services like Azure Logic Apps
· Experience with Azure Data Factory service for creating Data Pipelines.
· Experience with serverless technologies like Azure Function App Bonus skills
· Hands on experience supporting Spark with Python ( PySpark ) and R ( SparklyR, SparkR ) languages.
· Hands on experience with MLOps.
· Relevant Cloud Certification in Development / Architecture of Azure / AWS solutions.
