Role: Big data Engineer

Location: SFO, CA

Contract: Long term

 

Job Description:

·         10 + years’ experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Python, C++ or working on a Data Warehouse/Big Data platform.

·         2 + years’ experience with the following Big Data Technologies: HDFS, MapReduce, Sqoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka

·         2+ years’ experience in designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines using AWS Databricks.

·         Previous data warehouse experience as data architect is a plus

·         Good to have Experience with Cloud Database: Snowflake or Redshift.

·         Experience with Build/Deployment Automation: Jenkins, Ansible, Dockers, Maven

·         Experience in troubleshooting issues
