Must 8+ Candidate
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or
equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in systems analysis, development and engineering
in an online environment.
Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments
and possesses knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more projects as a
project team member or occasionally as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff.
Work Tasks
- · Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards that guide the design of solutions.
- · Assist internal and external customers to produce detailed functional requirements of system components to be programmed.
- · Efficiently program modules for use in and by the CSAB whether it be a new module or an upgrade to existing functionality.
- · Assist in the development of and manage an architecture governance process.
- · Provide assistance to community developers to facilitate additional application submissions and build out the shared development community.
- · Assist in software configurations as required supporting the organization’s development needs and schedule.
- · Monitor and assist in tuning systems for the greatest performance.
- · Act as liaison with hosting provider to ensure the environment is optimized for application performance in a multi-platform environment.
- · Minimize the issues between the client and the server applications.
- · Provide planning and technical support for migration activities.
- · Provide assistance to ensure the security of deployed applications.
- · Provide technical documentation of work performed in a standard project team format.
- · Recognize and identify potential areas where existing applications require change, or where new applications need to be developed.
- · Research, evaluate and recommend new Internet tools and applications for use.
- · Provide assistance performing maintenance activities on current production
- · applications.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field (or equivalent work experience).
Seven (7) years or more of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management systems, and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
Requires advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications systems design, and integration.
Requires working knowledge of the following programming languages: PHP, Simple Objectives Access Protocol (SOAP), REST Application Interface Protocols (APIs), PL/SQL, C, C++, C#, and XML.
