Role: Lead Python Developer with AWS experience
Location: Remote / Dallas, TX
Duration: 1 year open-ended Contract (long-term contract, no contract maximum, potential to convert to FTE)
Notes : We are looking Leads with a core Python development and AWS background (not a DevOps Engineer background)
Project Details:
You will join Aircraft Operations which handles the systems required for aircrafts to fly. Applications are currently being integrated into the cloud using AWS.
Ideally looking for the following:
• Hands-on Python development and AWS experience
• Experience completing a cloud project as a Lead
• Experience as a hands-on Lead
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to mentor other developers
Must Have:
• Strong logic, algorithm and analytical skills for problem solving
• Python
• AWS
• Lambda
• Kinesis streams (preferred) or Kafka
• SQS
• DynamoDB
• Microservices
• Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Enterprise integration in the cloud
Additional Skills : Need to fill ASAP Can start immediately 100% Remote for now (ideally looking for someone open to travel for occasional PI planning sessions in the future, if open to relocation to Dallas in the future for potential hybrid schedule that's a plus - but there is no tentative date for any onsite work right now)
