Client Note - Looking for someone that is more of a Database Developer, to help the core Software Engineers with anything and everything Database-specific. Candidate needs to be in DFW, Atlanta, or Detroit. Really need 10+ years of this experience. Mainly SQL, some ETL, and experience with a few RDBMS (DB2, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain scripts and routines related to data migration activities.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs related to data migration activities.
Coordinate and collaborate with the technical and product team as necessary to accomplish
Perform various DBA and scripting tasks as required for ongoing platform services maintenance and improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is an Individual Contributor role and will have no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
AS or BS in Computer Science, Programming, or equivalent technical field preferred.
Equivalent, relevant experience is also fine in lieu of the above.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of SQL with hands on experience of at least 2 RDBMS (PSQL, MariaDB, DB2, MySQL, etc.)
Familiarity and understanding of complex subscription-based database structures.
Familiarity and understanding of techniques and methods for protecting PCI/PII related data.
Familiarity and understanding of at least 1 ETL utility, such as Pentaho.
Knowledge of ETL industry standard processes and techniques
