- MemSQL and Python a plus
- Proficient understanding of the Oil & Gas industry from a Producer perspective preferred
- Knowledge of Data visualization tools - Spotfire, Tableau is desirable
- Knowledge of C# a plus

- Strong analytical skills

Needing: - Database Developer
- “Allegro”, “CTRM” or Oil and Gas knowledge – they must have either of these, or do not send
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience
- The key responsibilities of the Data Engineer focus on the development and customization of analytical tools for Oil and Gas Commodity Marketing and providing customer support for in-house and third-party software applications,
- particularly Allegro CTRM. The Data Engineer must work closely with the Development, Marketing, and Accounting Teams to ensure specifications for software deliverables are implemented accurately.
- The Data Engineer must possess a degree of technical knowledge regarding software development and associated technology tools primarily using Oracle PL/SQL, MemSQL, Python.
- The individual is expected to be able to code as necessary, perform detailed analysis on data structures, application servicing layers, data integration for existing and new applications systems.
Essential Functions and Principal Accountabilities: - Provide database development, enhancements, modifications, performance tuning, and support services for assigned projects in Oracle and MemSQL and more as needed.
- Prepare specifications for new applications, enhancements, modifications, and support issues. Also, prepare application documentation as required.
- Develop and support business intelligence models (Forecasting, regression and classification) by analyzing historical data to supports the business requirements for tactical and strategic analytics.
- Understand a given software project "end-to-end" specifically beginning with business requirements,
- then the appropriate Data Architecture and corresponding User Interface (UI) and culminating with finished information products such as Web Viewers, Reports, Data Entry Applications, Interfaces to Other Systems, User Interfaces or Data Marts.
- Interfacing between business users, tech support, IT project managers and software vendors
