Position- Azure Data Architect

Location- Stamford, CT

Detailed JD:

 

• BI Experience with 7+ Years of experience as BI Application Architect/Solution Architect.
• Experience building cloud application on Azure
• Familiarity with Azure administration and DevOps
• Good knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Analytics Services, PowerBI
• CPG domain knowledge is preferable.
• Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale multi time zone environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Agile methodology & DevOps concept
• Ability to analyze requirements, design and deliver Azure Data Analytics solutions (re-usable and scalable) using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake
• Extensive knowledge on data modelling, data architecture design, ETL/ELT, data integration and data migration design.
• Hands on experience in Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS components
• Knowledge on Networking, Windows/Linux virtual machines, Container, Storage, Azure Functions, Serverless Architecture, ARM Templates, Azure SQL DB/DW, Data Factory, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Data Bricks
• Knowledge on CICD practice

 

 Roles and Responsibilities

 

• Lead a group of architects and provide them direction in implementing a cloud solution
• Ability to properly gauge the requirements and provide the appropriate solution.
• Prioritize requirements from various stakeholders
• Work independently with business and technical stakeholders to understand the customer need and provide due diligence
• Develop and implement an Azure cloud architecture
• Estimate and outline the solutions needed to implement cloud migration as well as continued operations
• Execute the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during the solutions’ development and deployment phases
• Proactively provide team members with the information and guidance of engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate the assumptions, issues, and risks that occur throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Balanced approach on being strategically logical accomplished realistically
• Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.
