Position: SAP Architect (Functional Consultant)

Location: Boston, MA OR Canada

 

Tech Stack          SAP FI, SCM, Procurement, Integrations , Minimum 1 E2E implementation in S/4 HANA, Strong in SAP Integration

 

 

Job Description:

 

                 11+ Years of experience overall.

                 Architect, design, communicate, and deliver innovative end-to-end SAP Solutions.

                 Translates business and technical requirements into a solution architectural requirements.

                 Works collaboratively with Functional Leads, business process owners, project team members, Infrastructure teams, Security and middleware teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual and cost effective designs.

                 Works closely with various lines of business to develop architect blueprints and realistic roadmaps.

                 Analyse current SAP architecture to identify weakness and develop opportunities for improvement such as enhancing the business process, expanding capacity, reducing time cost and increasing overall effectiveness.

                 Owns the overall document and SAP application architecture based on industry standard architecture frameworks.

                 Leverage extensive knowledge of industry practices, software solutions, and methodologies to make technical recommendations on complex problem resolution, coupled with an approach that utilizes repeatable, efficient processes and best practices.

                 Participates in SAP Global Designs discussion, business alignment and functional focus areas meetings.

                 Sound knowledge and understanding of SAP S4 Hana and its techno-functional aspects in the area of ABAP, BASIS, Hana DB, FIORI, SAP PI / PO, Sybase, Netweaver, Workflows, SAP integration standards and technics, Cloud Solutions and its integrations with on premise application landscape including SAP Cloud Integration modules, Cloud based infrastructure including networking and connectivity related aspects for the IT applications environment

                 Work closely with different work stream to ensure scalable end-to-end designs and integration.

                 Manage relationships with stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.

                 Identifies organizational and financial impact of solutions architecture.

                 Partners and provides architectural leadership to deliver thoughtful IT solutions to the business. Works collaborately with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost effective designs.

                 Creates solution architectural designs to guide solution development across products, services and systems

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

                 Technical Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology

                 12+ years of experience developing SAP business systems and processes in large and complex business environment and should have 10+ of years of experience in SAP FI, SCM, Procurement, Integrations.

                 Candidate should have done 2 SAP E2E implementation project. Minimum 1 E2E implementation in S/4 HANA.

                 Strong knowledge in SAP Integration

                 Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

                 12 to 16 years of total IT experience

                 Certifications in either SAP SD/FICO/SCM or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage

                 Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods.
