Who are we looking for?
Senior Testing Lead for an Insurance client based out of USA with Life & Annuities domain experience. L&A Business Analyst & QA Lead (with Agency/Distribution Channel Testing Experience).
The Individual should be passionate about technology, automations, experienced in testing cutting edge technology applications.
Skills:
· Experience between 10-16 years of testing experience ( covering 5-8 Years in L&A and 7-10 Years in Test Management )
· Experiences in Large Testing Engagements - in driving / working with clients in Test Maturity Transformation journey, including transition from incumbent
· Managing the delivery - end to end for respective programs
· Ability to understand requirements and changes to requirements
· Strong communication skills - in onsite / offshore engagement models
· Strong L&A Business Analysis skills – with experience in Agency/Distribution. Experience working with L&A Products/Data Model in line with Traditional Life & UL
· Technical skills like .Net, APIs , Salesforce, DB-Oracle, SQL Server , ETL- Informatica and Java scripting is plus
· Experience in writing SQL queries to validate test results
· Experience in RESTful API Services Testing is a plus
· Experience in Test Design (test scenarios, test cases and coverage), Test Execution, Test Reporting, Defects Tracking and Analysis
o Designing & Executing QA test cases
o Submitting and retesting defects for QA
o Executing data mining to support UAT
o Participate in defect triage during QA and UAT phases
o Assisting UAT resources during UAT phase where possible
o Retesting UAT defects prior to UAT tester retest
o Review and provide feedback to Test Plan/Strategy document
o Defect life cycle, test life cycle
· Strong Analytical knowledge in developing test scenarios and test cases.
· Experience in using Test Management & Defect Management tool(s), preferably HP-ALM
· Experience in automation
o Test execution using Query Surge & Selenium WebDriver for Creating Basic Test Cases
o Java or Other supported Programming for Enhancing Test Cases
o Implementing JUnit or TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure.
o Creating and enhancing Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts and TestNG Annotations.
· Experience in PDF comparison tools like Ultracompare
· Knowledge on Agile methodology is an added advantage.
· Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools. Work independently with limited help
Process Skills:
· Capable of analyzing requirements and test software as per project defined software process
· Ability to execute test plans, create test cases test data and contribute to appropriate software development life cycle methodology and application of specialized business and technical knowledge.

· Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process

· Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
