Role: Quality Lead - DTC Work location: Quality Lead - DTC Start date: 1/17/2022 Background check MANDATORY   JOB DESCRIPTION "DTC - 2 positions —? CNBC Quality Lead - DTC   CNBC Quality & Performance engineering team is looking for an expert on test tools, test process with solid understanding of news media & mobile apps technology. In this role, you will have an opportunity to partner with product & engineering teams to own end to end user experience. This role will have an opportunity to lead agile team quality deliverables.   Title: Quality Lead Responsibilities Provide high-level test effort estimate Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases Set up a test harness to test functionality Automation feasibility study, development & maintenance of API, functional, integration and load/performance scripts across platforms Build, deploy application & conduct manual and automated testing as per defined process Report and follow up of defects found until closure Analyze logs in order to understand the root causes of issues Participate in agile - standups, planning sessions and retrospectives Perform automated nightly application regression & performance test Functional/Integration/Production testing by leveraging CI/CD Pipeline Work both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across the business to achieve quality & performance engineering goals Bring the quality consciousness, test leadership and customer advocacy Create and maintain HOWTOs and other materials for quality & performance engineering team Knowledge Management/Retention - Cross training & documentation Actively coach/mentor quality engineers Publish KPIs & metrics, ensure process compliance Onsite - Offshore co-ordination, as required   Minimum Requirements B.S degree or higher in computer science or related education 5+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QA testing 3+ yrs. of experience in testing news website, subscription products, SEO, ads, metrics, video players (live/on-demand) & streaming media content on desktop & mobile platforms 3+ yrs. of experience in software engineering - QA automation Must be proficient in Java Must have experience implementing automation frameworks – (Selenium WebDriver/Appium/TestNG/Junit) Must have experience with performance testing tools to measure server & client-side metrics Any experience in software engineering – Security testing Must have experience using Version control (GIT), SQL, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Monitoring tools (New Relic), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (TestRail) Any certification related to QA/Process/Automation/Performance Test/Security   Desired traits Organized, analytical & methodical, process-driven, customer-centric, creative, problem-solver, purposeful, articulate, composed, empathetic, trusted, collaborative & passionate.     Thanks & Regards, Azaharuddin Syed  Senior Resource Specialist Yochana IT Solutions Inc.   Email: azahar@yochana.com   Direct: 949 201 1303,Mobile: 732 623 3638 Address: 23000 Commerce Drive, Farmington Hills, MI 48335   www.yochana.com   Don't want any more emails?
