Candidates with previous experience in usage of CLARA application will have an added advantage The objective of the Business Support & Operations group is to enable KPMG member firms to drive audit quality and innovation by successfully supporting applications and functionality in line with Global Audit's strategic targets. Core business support activities: - Responsibility and leadership for end user business support in assigned tracks of Methodology, Sampling, Framework, etc (modules of KPMG Clara)
- Understanding of Audit processes and previous experience working on Audit based applications is a must
- Development of customer facing guidance and communications relating to issues raised by end users/engagement teams
- Delivery of internally developed training for assigned tracks
- Triage and initial troubleshooting of functional / business inquiries submitted into KGSG Audit Business Support queue
- Have a curious mindset, propose solutions and insight on complex topics (such as Substantive sampling, Advanced Capabilities and other innovative analytical routines) following a methodological approach
- Participate in internal meetings with other workstreams, including Application and Product development tracks to discuss audit application inquiries
- Prioritizing, categorizing and providing solutions for issues raised
- Participate in external meetings/calls with the country business and IT resources on key issues raised
- Collaborate with country contacts for researching and responding to batch inquiries coming out of training sessions
- Understand and support country validation testing efforts post release as a point of contact
- Leverage support expertise to help KGSG Audit application and functionality leads understand implications of development priorities, as well as to identify and address gaps in communication, guidance, or alignment between KGSG Audit and member firms
- Identify and anticipate member firm major concerns and feedback regarding the major products released by KGSG
- Serve as an advocate within the KGSG Audit organization for member firms to ensure early and continuing alignment of internal development priorities with member firm needs
- Liaise with other Business Support team resources, including offshore business support resources to understand and share common questions and issues reported from other regions and member firms
- Develop a deep understanding of KGSG Audit applications and functionalities, as well as member firm business and IT requirements and challenges, and formulate and execute support strategies which result in successful member firm issue resolution
- Have an understanding of all of the initiatives being developed and actively promoted by Global Audit to ensure that a comprehensive view is taken when working with the countries on their support strategies
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in processes, tools, templates, and share best practices
Additional experience: Ideally, candidate should have experience in: - Deployment of Audit applications
- Implementing change management initiatives within the audit function
- Working on a project or client engagement with a distributed team
- Building strong relationships with contacts at all levels in other member firms, especially executive / senior contacts
- Working with different countries and teams that are geographically dispersed
The candidate should have: - Full professional English language proficiency
- Ability to confidently lead meetings, calls and group discussions with senior level audiences
