Position Description
This is a hands-on Developer position for the Journals team which is part of the Core Processing group in the GBT Department. The team is responsible for applications that allow Field and Operations to move Cash/Securities between accounts and support our clients. The best candidate will be a strong C# programmer with an Agile/DevOps background. Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for the innovative development and maintenance of multiple .NET distributed applications • Participating in Onshore/Offshore teams/squads • Interpreting business requirements and specifications • Coordinating with QA for testing
Skills Required
5+ years of industry programming experience, including the following: • .Net development in C# with version 6 or above including some .Net Core 3.1 or above • Backend development of web service APIs (i.e. WCF, REST, WebAPI, etc.) and Windows services, ORM such as Entity framework • Microsoft SQL 2016+ or comparable database technology • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps SDLC processes • Strong verbal and written communication skills • SDLC Tools including JIRA, GIT, etc.
