Title: UI:UX Designer
Duration: 12+months
Location: 100% Remote
Looking for an exceptional UI/UX Designer to join our team in redefining the experience of its web applications.
The Team is looking for a strong communicator who is a passionate believer in the power of elegant web design and gets giddy when there's opportunity to enhance user's experience.
UI/UX Designer Primary Responsibilities:
· Use your deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build UI components that work well across our supported platforms to enhance the user experience.
· Extensive experience in developing web apps.
· Work with our user experience designers to translate ideas, technical and design requirements into a beautiful UI for ACE members.
· Write clean, maintainable, documented code using best engineering practices in the industry (design patterns, TDD, peer review, automated testing etc.).
· Experience deploying software utilizing CICD and SDLC tools and techniques (Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab, etc.)
· As part of DevOps team model, the candidate is expected to diagnose and fix production issues and maintain test (stage/pre-production) environments.
· Set standards, participate in code reviews, and define and refine your team's process to continuously promote Quality First Time.
Must Have Skills:
· Minimum 6+ years of experience designing and developing dynamic web apps.
· Proficient with Figma is required, other design tool experience desired.
· Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and developing responsive websites.
· Experience developing Cloud Native applications in a containerized environment such as Kubernetes / Docker / OpenShift
· Strong understanding developing and supporting applications in public cloud environments such as AWS / Azure / GCP
· Keen user interface/experience sensibility; able to clearly communicate design/feature ideas to a designer or developer, or to execute on their own.
· Experience with source control systems such as Git; bug tracking systems such as Jira.
· Experience with of JavaScript development tools [Grunt, Gulp, Bower, karma etc.]
· Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, debugging and optimization skills.
· Understanding of Secure code development practices, OWASP top 10, static code analysis and dynamic application testing.
Good to Have Skills:
· Experience with JavaScript visualization libraries such as D3.js, and building 2-D animation using JavaScript
· Knowledge of UI frameworks.
· Experience working with Docker and Containers.
· General knowledge and proficiency in (*NIX) systems, with experience writing scripts using either of Bash, Python, Java, etc. as a bonus.
