Role: Telecom Business Analyst
Location: St. Louis, MO/Madison, WI/Denver, CO/Charlotte, NC and Stamford, CT
Duration: Long Term
Job Description:
We currently have the below IT BSA opening with the Mobile team, Experience with telecom and wireless domain is a must have (Cellular company like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile ). Local candidates (at St Louis MO) and those who can relocate to St Louis are preferred, but candidates who can work from Charter offices at Madison, Denver, Charlotte and Stamford would also be considered.
Technical domain area expertise:
� Working on Spectrum Mobile Web Portal and Buyflow Processes (eCommerce)
� Working on Customer Care Support Tools and Processes (Spectrum Mobile 360)
� Working with Telesales Tools and Processes
� Working with Customer Profile Management Tool (Self Care Portal and Customer Care)
� Working with Mobile Retail Stores and Tools (Spectrum Mobile 360 and Point Of Sales)
Responsibilities:
� Identifying Stakeholders
� Requirements Analysis
� Gap Analysis in the Requirements
� Conduct Elicitations Meeting with All the Stakeholders Involved
� Internal Mobile Architect/Dev Team Discussion
� Prepare User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
� Review Requirements with Business or Stakeholders
� Approve Final User Stories with All the Stakeholders
� Review User Stories with QA Team
� Support QA Team with Testing and Defect Triage
Others:
� Working with Requirements Documentation Tools (ArchiMetrics)
� Working with BPMN Process and UML Notations
� Working with Jira and User Stories
� Working with Coin and Chalk Sites
General Description:
1. Business Analysis job description (Must-have):
1. Liaison between technical groups and the business
2. Requirements definition and elicitation
3. Ensure requirements are clear, concise and testable
4. A willingness to provide constructive feedback on projects
5. Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
6. Ability to recognize and determine whether the changes impact other systems
7. Ability to recognize up/downstream dependencies
8. Organizational skills; coordination of meeting agendas, minutes and action items
9. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
10. Other considerations which may be overlooked by business
2. Business Analysis Tools (Nice to have):
1. VP ArchiMetric (formerly known as Visual Paradigm) - Nice to Have.
2. At least MS Visio experience is needed though
3. JIRA
4. ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) - Nice to Have
5. Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) - Used to construct process flows to clearly show impacts of the project (as-is and to-be flows)
