Role -Java Lead/Architect Developer with Microservices

Location - Ada, MI or Chicago, IL (Initial Remote)

Long Term Contract

 

Must have Skills : Microservices (Strong), Cloud architecture (Capable)

 

Minimum experience - 9 years 

 

Description 

Microservices Lead will be responsible for implementing microservices and related architecture for our clients using industry standard technologies and best practises. He/she will need to understand the requirements, produce designs if required and represent Nagarro in discussions. He/she will assist in understand the issues, triaging, discussing it with client business/IT teams and in parallel get it resolved from team onshore/offshore. He/she will be a key role in the project.

 

Mandatory Skills: 

 

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and designing 
• Minimum 5 years' experience in developing microservices using Spring boot.
• Understanding of Lambda functions 
• Understanding of event driven architecture, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Rest web services, CRUD (REST) API integration and testing, Experience in cloud infrastructure like AWS etc.

 

Good to have skills:

• Understanding caching platforms like Redis
• Data lake and databases like Athena data lake, Aurora DB, Dynamo DB etc. 
• A working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD etc. 

 

Requirements

• Responsible for overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; prepare best practises and design  
• Should be able to understand latest Microservices architectures and platforms, Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MySQL/Oracle 
• Should be able to understand and discuss the business requirements with business users. 
• Should be able to provide technical solution, guidance. 
• Should be able to do design, coding, debugging and triaging the issues.  
• Should be able to communicate with Business as well as technical team. 
• Should be a self-starter and help business in taking right decisions. 
• Experience in tools like JIRA, Service Now etc. 
• Should be able to lead a team and work along with 4-5 assigned team members 
• Should be able to communicate with client on daily basis - daily standup with client, Demo calls, clarification calls, bug fixing and triaging, reporting
• Responsible for mentoring and motivating team members.  
• Determines and implements design methodologies and tool sets.  
• Troubleshoots problems across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.  
• Creates technical documentation and assistance tools for customers.
