Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: BS computer science or Equivalent Experience
• 2 years Experience in Android development
• Android SDK and Java 8+ Knowledge
• Experience coding in but not limited to Java and Python.
• Experience with MySQL and SQL queries
• Experience with Ui Automator, Android Instrumentation Tests and the Android Testing stack on Android emulators.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Robolectric experience
• Experience coding in Kotlin
• Google Protobuf APIs Knowledge
• Experience with basic statistical comparative analysis.
• Experience with Android Native (C++) development.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Partner with Google Developer teams to support testing of user and Google partner facing features and supporting software.

 

• Design, implement and document Unit, Integration and End-to-End Android Instrumentation Tests for customers Android application on the Android Automotive platform.

 

• Design and implement test infrastructure to support those tests at scale.

 

• Analyze test results to determine stability, reliability and performance of test code.

 

• Design and Create test results dashboards to surface test results to developers to provide feedback on Product code .
