Hi All,

Hope you are doing well.

Kindly let me know if you have any suitable candidates for below position.

Client - eyepromise - https://eyepromise.com/

Duration - 6 months RTH or ongoing contract

Location - Remote - prefers someone local or close to St. Louis (they will get looked at first)

Manager is only working with our firm to fill!

Manager Notes

We touch a wide range of technologies but these are the core / required skills

eCommerce experience, React, JavaScript, and Nodejs on front end

PHP and MySQL primarily on backend

Some level of full stack experience. Required skills are JavaScript and NodeJS

Steer more towards someone being more experienced in middle tier or UI vs. database.

They will touch it all here and they can help drive the roadmap on tech.

I need someone with e-commerce experience - will help with managing the site, making updates, handling some of our integrations, etc. - They'll manage our complete e-commerce platform, so checkout process, managing payments, etc.

The site flows data into our accounting system, SalesForce, HubSpot (Marketing) and our fulfillment partner

Ability to innovate - I'd rather have a junior person that can see (or has the potential to see) the big picture and work with our internal business partners on how to improve things and then go figure it out vs a senior "pattern matcher"

We'll also have other projects on the horizon, the next major one being an accounting package. While they should be more of a COTS project, there will be integration touch points that this person would help figure out and drive the implementation.

Nice to haves:

BigCommerce is PHP and we have some cloud components that integrate our e-commerce site with other systems.

There's also a small AWS component. But it's really some basic code, not anything where someone really needs to understand AWS.

Experience with any of the subsystems in the job description as our BigCommerce data flows into these systems.

We'll be tackling and implementing a new account package in the next 12-18 months, so if they've done anything like that, or any type of integration effort where the experience would translate.

While we are small, and some may see that as a disadvantage (they might question advancement opportunities), on the other hand, they'll get to own a lot and drive direction. There's no red tape. If we come up with a good plan to improve something, the only people stopping it would be ourselves. As the President of the company told me when I first started, the company is a hidden little gem in Chesterfield Valley. We have an established product, a good customer base, and we just have to continue that and innovate.
