Role: Service-now Developer

Job Description:
1. Perform SACM and CMDB related activities. This includes:
· Provide overall support in managing the operations of the SACM process and governance.
· Assist in the cleanup/update of Configuration Item (CI) attributes in the CMDB.
· Configure and build reports, dashboards, CMDB Health view
· Manage Data Certification tasks and following up with groups to complete certification tasks
2. Perform Discovery related activities. This includes:
· Provide support in the operation and maintenance of the ServiceNow Discovery applications including but not limited to, discovery schedules, credentials, service mapping and other discovery related operational activities.
· Continuously monitor discovery reports/logs, help with the identification of errors and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
· Identify credential or server related issues and collaborate with device owner for resolution.
· Perform required preparatory work and gather initial information for service mapping.
1. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The desired resource should possess expert level competency in their own field. In addition to this, following should also be considered as part of the profile:
· Minimum of 5 years relevant experience ServiceNow Asset, CMDB and Discovery modules.
· Demonstrated experience in managing the CI lifecycle with the ability to perform data analysis in keeping track of discovered CIs and its relationships as well as stale CIs and its relationships.
· Strong analytical skills, ability to think outside the box and be creative in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Discovery, SACM process and CMDB CIs.
· Ability to comprehend, modify and create server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, Windows scripting and Powershell
· Intermediate knowledge and ability in Server Administration across OS platforms, including the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects and the execution of sudo policies
· Understanding protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST
· Familiarity with the XML, and JSON/script language concepts
· Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization (WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware)
· Intermediate Windows and Unix administration skills
· Familiarity with network concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, NAT, load balancing)
· Familiarity with CyberArk as external ServiceNow credential store
· Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
· High level of initiative with a proven ability to work independently
