Role - Production Support Engineer
Location:O'Fallon , MO
Duration – Long Term
Project Scope:
Debugging Skills, Java, Spring Boot, SQL, ITSM Activities, Remedy, Monitoring
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
2. Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
3. Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews. E
4. Ensure products/applications being put into production are designed with internal/external customer objectives/experience in mind. Products are well-developed using collaboration between Biz Ops Teams, operationally ready, in-tact automation is in place, and product is fully supportable by our React (Production Support) Team.
5. Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
Required skills
1. The need is someone who has done L2 support and have good knowledge on Unix, Splunk and Dynatrace.
2. Good understanding of support projects and CI/CD pipeline process.
3. Good in Unix
4. Average Database knowledge
5. Average in Java concepts
6. Good understanding of Dynatrace
