Role : POSTGRESSQL DBA
Term: Long term contract Location: Dallas, TX (Remote until Covid) Direct Client : Walmart
Job Description:
Minimum 5 Years of PostgresSQL DBA Experience.
Strong experience as a Database Administrator / DBA including performance tuning and optimization
Experience of building and deploying PostgreSQL clusters into production
Experience of working with high availability, scalable environments
Must have strong knowledge of Azure/GCP environment
Experience working with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse----HUGE PLUS
Experience with PostgreSQL 11+
Implementation and management of a cloud database governance platform
SQL scripting and optimizations
Experience managing and executing disaster recovery plans
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Collaborative with strong communications skills, comfortable liaising with the business to understand user needs
Experience with Data-modeling
