12+ years of experience in helping organizations implementing an enterprise-wide data governance roadmap
• Must have led multiple roll outs of an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
• Must have actively participated in defining roles and responsibilities related to data governance to ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the organization's principal information assets
• Should have facilitated the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards, term / policy definitions, and adoption requirements across the enterprise
• Excellent working knowledge on one or two industry leading tools – IBM CP4D / Informatica EDC, Axon, Collibra, Alation etc.
• DAMA / DCAM certified
• Should have helped organizations define indicators of performance and quality metrics to ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, and roles & responsibilities
• Exposure to broader data management activities including Data Lake implementations, Data Modeling, cloud platforms, mobile and IoT systems for cataloguing and governing their data assets
• Good experience and exposure to ETL and data modeling
• Sound knowledge and understanding of best practices and concepts of Data Warehouse Applications
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Good exposure to solutioning and client management activities
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
