Job Description

write functional spec for technical integration team, working with business team to gather the requirements

· spreadsheet manipulation and gap analysis

· strong ability to document mapping to and from source to multi-layered destination (from source to middle ware to final destination)

· Identify missing business critical data elements and determine best approach to obtain information

· Work closely with the multiple teams to ensure complete and accurate product data information is collected

· Collaborate to develop and implement definitions, standards, rules, patterns, hierarchies and use cases across product data processes

· Translate multiple, disparate, and highly complex business requirements into data requirements

· Material Master experience and knowledge in S4 (SAP MM)

· Knowledge of golden record in S4 HANA

• We are migrating from ECC to S4 HANA and a suite of new platforms. In this migration the golden record for products need to be maintained and advanced for the future.

· Understanding of GS1 standards and their application to product content syndication

o GS1 Standards are used as a foundation for governance and global best practices. For example, to assign GTIN/UPC to our products and materials. We also use GS1 Global Data Model for guidance related to meta data management and governance.

o Very specifically the Data synchronization channel is a focus now to migrate from a current suite of sources to new data sources, process, and technologies.

 

· Proven experience of working on master data strategy, data governance, and data management tool implementations.

· Preference given to candidates with experience on working on S4 and Product Information Management (PIM) integrations

· Experience identifying, analyzing, and translating business needs into written requirements that allow for development teams to align behind the vision and usage of product data

· Effective and proactive communicator with stakeholders at all levels

· Successfully sets and manages expectations through delivery of multiple project streams

· Ability to quickly learn product definitions and service offerings across divisions and regions

· Understands nuances of products, digital assets, content, and relevant business processes

· Ability to translate between technical and business language and drive terminology alignment through-out the process is critical

· Does not need for ABAP development experience but will need knowledge of high level middleware to pull data from multiple sources into the PIM solution
