Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong math skills (statistics, linear algebra)
- Experience in handling data (structured + unstructured), building and deploying data science models (Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, K-Means, etc.) in production systems.
- Have thorough understanding of one or more of the following: Machine Learning algorithms, Natural Language Processing techniques, and Information Retrieval techniques
- Should have working knowledge of machine & deep learning frameworks - scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch
- Experience in data visualization – matplotlib, seaborn etc
- Strong hands-on experience in Python
Generic Managerial Skills
- Be able to lead a team of developers
- Self-motivation and self-drive: the individual must have the drive to do things on his/her own without being supervised
- Self-organizing: the individual must be able to manage his/her dependencies by proactively seeking out help/support, asserting the needs and working on the solution following the leads
- Strong written and oral communication
