Position: IAM Lead
Location: Boston, MA – Remote until COVID
Job type: Contract
Qualifications:
•10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD)
•Demonstrated knowledge of program and project management methodologies and best practices, software and product development lifecycles (SDLC/PDLC) required. Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved portfolio and program management processes, templates and tools, and create a wide variety of reporting mechanisms for leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
•Experience in managing IAM development and support projects and sound knowledge of IAM domain
•Strong understanding of security domains, the Security Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), Identity Mgmt, Access Mgmt, MFA, Entitlement Mgmt and how these fit into the overall Project Portfolio process across Technology organizations.
•Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. In particular, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to different organizational levels.
•Deep analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically.
•Strong leadership qualities, organizational and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback as well as the ability to adapt quickly to change (e.g., changing priorities, assignments, and roles).
•Skilled in conflict management and negotiation to achieve project goals and develop trust with stakeholders.
•As a member of the Technology organization, have technical savvy, with desire and ability to learn new software is a must.
•Hands-on experience managing large-scale business transformational and support projects.
•Certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SAFe SPC), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Stanford Advanced Senior Program Manager (SAPM), and/or Lean Six Sigma would be a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Plans, organizes and leads all phases of the project life cycle to ensure successful delivery, which includes developing and managing project governance plans, schedules, team goals, defining success criteria, milestones and budgets.
•Should be able to stream line operational processes with 100% adherence to SLA
•Plan and prioritize and run production support related activities for Tier 0 and Tier 1 applications with 99.9999% uptime
•Be the voice of coordination that ensures alignment of resources and anticipates and remediates impediments and risks in a timely manner.
•Be decisive and thoughtful in making the appropriate tradeoffs needed to expedite delivery.
•Balance needs of the business versus technical constraints and feasibility.
•Ability to make informed decisions guided by policies, procedures and business needs with limited supervision.
•Team player who motivates, integrates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members, sponsors, stakeholders and others involved with or affected by the program.
•Maturity, professional judgement, strategic thinking, technical acumen, negotiation, communication (verbal and written), conflict resolution, influence, analytical and leadership skills are essential for this role.
