Senior IAM (Identity & Access Management) Engineer
As a Senior IAM (Identity & Access Management) Engineer, you will be an integral part of our IAM engineering team and own a
significant set of projects, responsibilities, escalations and improvement initiatives across our Access Management platform.
Operating within our Critical Infrastructure pillar, you will partner closely with our IAM operations team, architects, security
technologists and engineering community to deliver excellent IAM solutionsthat offer value without compromising on risk or quality.

You’ll Spend Your Time
• Intaking, managing and executing new IAM projects(we have a strong pipeline of these)
• Designing and building workflows, integration with other systems and building certification campaignsin our Identity and Access Management Platform
• Insuring that existing IAM systems are updated to keep up with the evolving customers’ requirements
• Receiving and successfully resolving escalations from our IAM Operations team and acting as a pragmatic L3 engineer

• Deep experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ(IIQ)
• Strong first principles and best practices for IAM best practices, frameworks and solutions
• Demonstrable development expertise in Java
• Understanding of security and authentication standards (SAML,OAUTH, OIDC, PKI etc)
• Working with cloud PaaS technologies and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency with storage filers, RDBMS and LDAP
Seeking an Identity and Access Managementtechnologist to serve as a second level support
engineer. The position is for an operational run group and support engineers will respond to
incidents as well as handle support requestsfor a variety of technologies related to
our IAM services. Successful candidates will need a deep understanding and technical expertise
to apply in a hands-on environment,mid-level experience required. Engineers that only want to
do projects and/or design and architect solutions will not be happy with this role.
Candidates should have in-depth, hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (version 7.3+),
common technologies used in an enterprise IAM environmentsuch as SSO, directory services,
and MFA, an understanding of and experience with disaster recovery,resilient design, and high
availability techniques and solutions. While not hard requirements, experience with Azure,
AWS, and cloud development,scripting, and a high-level understanding of Java are a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Project responsibilities, including executing on the improvements and automation
identified by them or others on the team, and ownership of small projects within their
respective area.
• Queue owner, responsible for the general health of the queue including resolving
tickets, identifying trends, finding the technical cause of problems,recommending, and
implementing process/systemchanges to eliminate incoming workload, optimizing team
process, diagnosing problems to the root cause, and resolving them, and escalating
where appropriate.
• Must be able to work well in an ambiguous and changing environment
• Hands on knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ environments, certification is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in relevanttechnologies, including:
• Connectors/Applications
• SSF (JML Process)
• Tasks/workflows
• Business Rules
• Familiarity with the debug interface
• Break/Fix, Provisioning & Decom, Patching, Migrations, Documentation
• Data Aggregation

• Kerberos

• Symmetric/Asymmetric encryption
• Hashing
• General knowledge of integration points
