Role: GCP Data Architect
Location: Remote
Contract
15+ years direct experience working in Enterprise Data Warehouse / Data Lake technologies
· 7+ years in a customer facing role working with enterprise clients
· Defined minimum 3 GCP Data & Analytics Platform Logical & Component based architecture
· Experience in defining Logical GCP Data & Analytics Platform layers & Capability Metrics for each layer
· Experience in various Ingestion & consumption pattern & decision tree/ Score card based GCP component decisioning for each pattern
· Document transformation approach , options & decision tree based component decisioning
· Platform & Data security design GCP Operational design for Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, Costing
· Experience with mapping and modelling data using Power Designer, Erwin, etc
· Experience in modelling data from various sources files, tables, streaming, structured and unstructured into Data lake in various models to meet analytics, reporting and other product development needs
· Experience in various data models – star, snowflake, flattened etc to support high performing database and dashboarding to meet platform and project needs
· Hands-On Experience with GCS, Kafka, Cloud Pub-Sub, BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud SQL, DataFlow, DataProc, DataFusion, Data Catalog, DLP, Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer, Attunity
· Experience designing and deploying large scale distributed data processing systems with few technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Veica, Tableau, Looker.
· Certifications
o Minimum: Google Professional Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect
o Preferred: Google Big Data Specialty Certification
· Background with Healthcare & life sciences segment
· Experience with PHI & PII data, HIPAA, HITRUST & SOX
