Duration: 4 months Job Description - The Functional Test Analyst role is responsible for leading the design, development, re-use and institutionalization of the enterprise-wide technology quality assurance testing.
- This position partners with cross functional information technology (IT) disciplines to ensure test processes, practices and standards are executed for a defined scope of projects.
- The Functional Test Analyst provides testing specialization expertise which includes right balancing of testing methodologies, procedures and practices unique to commercial off-the-shelf packaged solutions, and in-house developed solutions.
Principal duties and Responsibilities: - Lead test activities in accordance with established policies and standards.
- Drive test deliverables on a project basis being responsive to schedule and quality requirements.
- Design tests with re-use in mind to fast-track quality testing of products.
- Partner with the development team in collaboration to deliver testable software.
- Experience in testing on web based, e-commerce applications, including understanding and knowledge of web services and API level testing.
- Have good exposure with test automation frameworks for Selenium/Tosca/Cypress.
- Implement test verification (e.g., Technical Reviews) and validation (e.g., Function Test or System Test) practices, standards, metrics, training, and processes.
- Drive product readiness while supporting both technical and business teams.
- Establish fact-based measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness.
- Partner with client groups to ensure that the testing strategy is understood, in use, test prerequisites are completed and that test outputs are analyzed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
