Job Description:
- Looking for an SRE engineer:
- To administrate Prometheus, ELK (soon to be OpenDistro/OpenSearch)
- To provide support and some administration over Kafka, Vault, and Consul products managed by our team.
- Know how to code to help with some more of the complex configurations and they need to have familiarity with Git, Docker, and Jenkins as these are used for release management.
- Our biggest gap is around coverage for administration of Elasticsearch/Kibana/Logstash currently though and would be the primary skill set we are driving toward.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or other automation frameworks
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Experience with both container and virtualization technologies (VirtualBox, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, vSphere, EC2, GCE).
- Experience with databases and data modeling
- Experience with workflow and issue management tools such as JIRA
