Role : Data Analytics Consultant on Azure is Mandate
Location : Houston, TX
Duration : Long Term
Job Description:
· Knowledge on SQL Server databases, tables, SQL scripts and relationships.
· Knowledge on workflow ETLs and related add-ons (SharePoint etc)
· Knowledge on various data sources like excel files, SharePoint files, lists and fileshares etc
· Knowledge on Data Modeling and best practices.
· Experience on ETLs written in Python using frameworks like Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter Notebook
· Able to write Python scripts using Pandas/Numpy to clean the input data and transform.
· Able to write PowerShell/python scripts to move the data to/from SharePoint to manage input/output files
· Basic skills of Agile methodology and Azure Boards/Azure Repos, Pipeline and CI/CD will be advantage.
· Experience in developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
· Proficient in making DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries and Query M language.
· Experience connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
· Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
· Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
· Expertise with T-SQL/PLSQL– queries, stored procedures, functions, views, constraints.
· Assist in migrating reports from SSRS to Power BI.
