Job Description:
UST is looking for ETL Test Lead with experience in ETL testing, SQL Server and Teradata to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The ideal candidate must possess strong background in ETL testing using SQL server as the backend. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team.“Need solid hands on expertise on SQL”.
Responsibilities:
· Create test plan, test case, test scripts based on the project requirements
· Prepare test strategy based on the complexity of the project
· Write complex SQL queries for validating the data
· Validate the large volume of data
· Prepare and execute functional test cases, regression test cases
· Review the test cases prepared by the junior team members and get it signed off from the client stake holders
· Coordinate with business analyst, system analyst, development team, UAT team / users and other stake holders for the betterment of system health
· Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process Requirements
· Must have 7+ years of experience in ETL testing · Must have hands on experience in SQL Server and Teradata
· Must have experience testing applications that handles large data
· Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing and end to end testing.
· Should be well versed with the Data flow and Test Strategy for ETL Testing.
· Ability to Develop complex SQL scripts (Primarily SQL) for ETL
· Experience in testing Database Application to validate source to destination data movement and transformation.
· Extensively worked on Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading.
· Strong hands-on experience in Test Planning, Preparation, Execution and Defect Tracking.
· Must have basic unix commands
· Possess extensive and in-depth knowledge of developing SQL scripts using SQL functions, grouping operations, sub queries, analytical function and joins to test the DW projects.
· Sound knowledge of Data Warehouse testing concepts and hands on expertise in using ETL tools having performed the testing of ETL processes
· Experience on JIRA, Quality Center, and Rational Clear quest and defect management process would require.
· Experience on direct client interactions and onsite-offshore co-ordination.
· Should have good analytical and inter-personal skills.
· Good to have provider / Healthcare experience.
