Job summary

 

7+ years overall QA / testing Candidate will be responsible for overall quality delivery Daily/weekly review meetings on testing progress & product quality statuses Implement best practices in ETL & Bi Data testing Identifying issues/risks and mitigation planning during the testing phase Enter, update, maintain and report on testing tasks in JIRA Requirements analysis & working with business teams to gather requirements & define test strategy

 

Technical Skills

 

• SQL Developer, Scala, Postgres
• Data Management
• Big Data & ETL testing using, SQL, Spark, Scala
• Experience in Data testing

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

• Conduct regression testing in Big Data / ETL environment Validate data load, migration, integration, and ETL testing
• Collaborate in Design meetings to identify Test scenario and Gap analysis
• Help in Test data preparation and ETL test scripts
• Preparation in tracking tool per ETL package design Write Spark, Scala, SQL scripts for database requirements
• Validation Test SQL scripts to verify ETL process as part of Enterprise Data Warehouse Create & execute test cases,
• Review test results Identify & log defects in JIRA Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing on the release version for the SW application & detect bugs
• Database testing in PostGress Must be highly proficient in Writing SQL scripts
• Spark/Scala Scripts Experience Test Strategy and test plan creation
• Excellent communication (high-level) Ability to manage client coordination
