Qualifications
- Expertise - System Design, Architecture, and Systems & application Security & cloud knowledge (AWS Preferred).
- 5+years experience and Solid Understanding of security principles such as SSL, TLS, IAM, OAuth, SAML & Azure AD, & LDAP, Web scans, and vulnerability management.
- Data Analytics Tools: System Admin Experience for BI, Analytics, and ETL tools like Tableau, Matillion or Informatica, Snowflake, or other Cloud DW's.
- Uses knowledge and experience to improve Application related performance and System Integrations.
- Proficient in oral and written communications skills.
- 5+ years of experience in implementing cloud-based data lake/data warehouse technologies.
- Must have experience working with high-volume data and building batch and near real-time ETL processes using AWS services such as lambda, API Gateway, Sagemaker & other Aws services.
- Experience with Matillion, Informatica ELT/ETL Tools.
- Experience Administering Applications & Cloud Databases & Security Design.
Job Description:
- 8 years of rich experience in Datawarehouse technologies and System Administration of BI, Analytics & ETL tools.
- 8+ years of experience of IT platform implementation in a technical role using software like Informatica, Tableau, Oracle, SQL Server Integration Services, Matillion, Snowflake.
- 5 years of rich experience in AWS cloud data and analytics space with a solid understanding of Data warehousing product snowflake, RedShift, ETL product Informatica Cloud, Matillion, and SQL, and 3+years with other ETL/Data integration tools and other Databases will be preferred. Uses knowledge and experience to improve Application related performance. Proficient in oral and written communications skills
- 5+ years of experience in implementing cloud-based data lake/data warehouse technologies. Must have experience working with high-volume data and building batch and near real-time ETL processes using AWS services such as Redshift, Matillion.
- Responsibilities Analyze and interpret complex data and provide resolutions to data issues
- Coordinate with data analyst to validate requirements, perform interviews with users and developers
- Perform tests and validate data flows and prepare ETL processes according to business requirements
- Perform ETL tuning and SQL tuning.
- Experience working with API's and SaaS products like salesforce, snowflake & AWS API's
- Designing and implementing a data conversion strategy from legacy to new platforms
- Design and prepare technical specifications and guidelines including ER or Visio diagrams and related documents.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters or bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or Math
- Ability to evaluate and plan migrations to AWS & snowflake
- Solid understanding of Apis and security.
- Python knowledge & automation.
- One of the AWS Associate level certifications or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
- Extensive hands-on experience in leading large-scale full-cycle MPP enterprise data warehousing (EDW) projects
- Extensive hands-on experience in data warehousing design, tuning and ETL/ELT process development
- Excellent SQL and strong hands-on scripting (bash or python) ability.
- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments
- Understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP databases, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting, Dashboard development, and NoSQL storage
