Job Description:
Public cloud solution developer with experience in use and integration of cloud compute, network, and storage services. Responsible primarily for development of back-end components of a solution, but also for integration with front-end elements, so a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Solution components must
be developed to meet high quality and performance requirements.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
· 5+ years of experience writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
· Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
· Technical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience with public cloud services (IBM, AWS, Azure, and/or Google)
· Experienced in code development and management using Github
· Application development using public cloud APIs and SDKs
· Experience with modern languages used in cloud computing: Terraform, Ansible, Python, Golang, Java
· Experience with container technology, e.g., Kubernetes, and specifically with OpenShift is desired
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Highly responsible and motivated
· Ability to tackle difficult technical problems, in some cases with little direction, and to work independently, a self-starter
