| Job Title | Location | Job Description | | Senior Java Developer | Atlanta, Georgia | Partial Remote: 2 days onsite/ 3 days offsite Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software.
The client is looking for Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Java Technologies who possesses senior level application design, development and implementation skills. Candidate must be very strong in Core Java, Spring boot Framework, Web Services (SOAP and REST Style), Ionic, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, Type Script, Java Script frameworks and knowledge of SQL with a minimum of 7yrs experience.
Scope of Work:
- Participate with business analysts and development manager in the requirements definition process
- Translate business requirements into viable technical architectures and designs
- Implement the designs (design, code, test, deploy). Support the deployed applications through debugging,
fixing, and maintenance releases.
-Understand the current applications and technical architecture and provide technical and programming support
- Work with users, contractors and technical personnel to meet project milestones
- Stay abreast of new technologies and methods to optimize development process
- Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
- Have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and the ability to implement software
following the structured approach.
- Very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well with peers and all levels of management
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Required skills:
- Server side Java development experience
- Java, J2EE, Struts, JavaScript Frameworks, Spring, SOAP Web Services, REST Web Services, Servlets,
SQL, JDBC, Unix
- Developing Performance critical Applications in J2EE
- Mobile Development Experience a Big Plus
- Well Versed in RDBMS Technology: Oracle 11g or higher
Education:
4 Year Degree, BS Computer Science or Engineering
