Role: QA Engineer Location: Remote Contract JD: - Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements product designs schedules or potential problems
- Participate in use cases (user story) grooming meeting with Product team and provide input for the acceptance criteria
- Prepare the testing strategy and solutiondesign for the project scope
- Prepare the test plan document with testing schedule dates and planned deployment to various environments based on project delivery dates
- Prepareupdate automation testing strategy document and scripts for each delivery
- Manage and review the test cases prepared for testing of require ments
- Guide and work with Data Engineers to prepare UnitIntegrationRegression test plans scenarios and test cases
- Deploy and test the changes delivered by software development teams of the project into different environments setup for validation
- Perform Automation regression testing for each delivery cycle to validate different scenarios and retest fixes for errors or bugs
- Review deliverables such as test case design test scripts and test procedures prepared by Development professionals for validation of results
- Perform positive and negative testing to make sure all the scenarios are covered in the application
- Perform usability testing from end user perspective to validate the business scenarios
- Setup test environments and required setup (Jenkins) for automation testing and make sure the automation scheduler job runs based on given time frame
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers
- Classify the defect based on the behavior (Functional Performance or Security)
- Report it to the software development team and plan for fix retesting
- Prepare Defect related metrics (Defect Severity Index Defect Density) required for management reporting
- Retest and Regression test the application for the defect fixes delivered by the development team
- Participate and provide inputs as part of Agile project ceremonies daily standup sprint review grooming planning retrospective etc
- Update JIRA Confluence and other project documentations and status
- Take the bugdefect to the closure in the system when the reported issue is validated as working fine
- Prepare traceability metrics for each requirement to make sure no issues exist on each requirement and ensuring the QA success
- Perform the automation testing using the tools (Selenium QTP Robot Framework)
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks
TestingTechnical expertise: - Experience in AgileKanban project delivery model
- Database testing (Strong Knowledge of SQL Query Preparation)
- Experience in GCP BigQuery
- Functional Automation testing (Selenium TestNG Robot Framework)
- Performance Testing: Load Runner or Jmeter work Experience
- Experience in Python for scripting
- Executing pipelines in Apache Airflow Cloud Composer etc
