Job Description
We work on solving problems related to Infrastructure Operations & Tooling. As a Project Coordinator you will be working various teams within Meta Infrastructure to oversee operations of hardware within our data centers. This role’s mission is to build a complete and accurate understanding of project scope, convert the scope into execution plan, manage risk and stakeholder communications.
Manage project schedules, identify risks and associated mitigation plans, and clearly communicate to the OPM team. We are looking for technical project managers who have a strong technical foundation in Infrastructure space and are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the planning and scoping of the multiple projects with other program managers and technical leads.
• Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks and maintain execution throughout the duration of partner programs
• Effectively communicate project statuses
• Ensure project documents and regular updates are complete/current and available for program managers and leadership review
• Effectively track different Infrastructure capacity transfers across multiple initiatives and use cases
• Coordinate new capacity requests and track to completion the allocation of new and pending capacity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Unidash and working knowledge of database systems like MySQL, CRUD etc
• B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent engineering discipline experience
• Experience executing operational runbooks with software and operational engineering teams
• 2+ yrs of Project/Program management experience
• Familiar with different software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile and Scrum
• Previous Capacity (Infrastructure) Management Experience
