Job Title: IT - Lab Support engineer
Duration of the project: 12 Months
Minimum years of experience required: 10 Years
Tasks:
• Deploying Non-GxP Workstations
• Lab System Moves
• Minor modifications to GxP Workstations (e.g., adding Empower workstations, Zebra printer support, peripheral support)
• Understand System Requirements
• Design system solution consistent with Standards
• Install and Configure Applications per specifications
• Manage platform upgrades
• Author requirements (e.g., user, functional) and SDD
• Contribute to configurations specification (CS)
• Author server Technical Requirements Specification (TRS)
• Author / Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Contribute to testing procedures
• Assist with Script Execution
• Author Change Request (CR)
• Procure and build hardware
• Image and deploy systems
• Decommissioning
• Manage and Update System Images
• Application Patch Implementation
• Lab workstation OS and security patch management (e.g., Ivanti) – monthly deployment
• CMMS Routine Tasks (e.g., Daylight saving time change in instruments)
• Periodic Reviews – Information Gathering
• Audit Trail Reviews
• Support account management, as needed.
• Training
Skillset:
• Custom Workstation Deployment/ Support
• System Detail Design (SDD) Updates
• Working knowledge of Lab Enterprise Systems (e.g., Empower, SoftMax Pro, Vi-Cell, Labware
LIMS)
• Working knowledge of Data Integrity Standards (e.g., “attributable, legible, contemporaneous,
original, accurate” (ALCOA))
• GxP Toolset Skills (e.g., Trackwise, Quality Docs)
• Working knowledge of Active Directory (e.g., Group Policy Object (GPO), Groups)
• Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL Server)
• Working knowledge of OS
• Working knowledge of Applications
• Understanding of PMO and RACI
• Ability to complete HW/SW Builds
