Title: Network / Systems Engineer, IT | Functional Area: Information Technology |

Responsible for the Information Technology department's services in support of the company's business strategy. Position involves the design, installation, and support of complex networks that span multiple countries.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security technologies including the operating systems, hardware, firmware, security software, and related security tools.
- Design, deploy and support Local and Edge Networks utilizing industry best practices with Cisco and Fortinet platforms.
- Contribute to the development and performance of a migration plan from traditional branch and campus interconnectivity to SD-WAN topology and connectivity.
- Experience with routing (EIGRP, BGP, etc.) and redundant protocols (VRBO, HSRP, etc.)
- Experience with the design, management and support of various Cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
- Strong working familiarity with Cisco IOS with hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers & switches.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated ability working with VMware and vCenter Server virtualization platforms, including vMotion, HA, DRS, & Troubleshooting.
- Implement and troubleshoot LAN technologies such as VLANs, Trunking, Spanning-Tree, and Port Security.
- Experience installing, configuring and administering Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, domains, domain trusts, domain networks, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare ESXi, VMWare vSphere.
- Experience with Management through PowerShell
- Oversee security patching for server and storage systems to ensure systems maintain current patch levels and patches are applied in the least distributive manner.
- Experience with various Email Security products such as Proofpoint.
- Installation of network and leased line cabling, connectivity hardware, server hardware, & Network Operating Systems.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams, and processes.
- Coordinate with vendors to provide required supplies and services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required
- Bachelor's degree or one or more of the following Cisco/Microsoft/VMware/ certifications required:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- Cisco Certified Network Professional
- Microsoft Certifications: Administrator, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Security Engineer.
- VMware Certified Professional
- A minimum of 5 years' work-related experience.
Networking
Cisco: Routers, ASA & Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco Switches, Cisco Call Manager, Routing Protocols, VLAN.
