We are looking for QA Mobile tester- Remote with one of our client.

Roles and  Responsibilities

• Works with development teams through the design and test stages to ensure strict adherence to business requirements and to improve upon new and existing features where applicable.
• Collaborate with Product Management to aggregate business requirements documents and build functional test plans & test cases.
• Organizes and records detailed test results; provides reports and general visibility of results and project/task status.
• Logs detailed and accurate defect reports and follows the defects through to resolution and closure.
• Continually expands and refines systems documentation.
• Works effectively within an on-shore/off-shore resource model to reduce lapse test time without risk to test coverage and quality.
• Contributes to area by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others.

 

 

Requirements

• Working experience with Mobile testing and device or systems management application
• Strong experience with end-to-end testing in a client-server environment
• Proficiency in Requirements analysis, test case identification and execution, tracking of defects and reporting of results.
• Experience with trouble-shooting issues, including log file and network trace analysis, to eliminate false alarms
• Experience in command line utilities in Linux and Windows
• Experience in Mobile automation using Appium and Java
• Nice to have: Experience with setting up and configuring Apache, Tomcat, https, load-balancing and HA would be a big plus
• Nice to have: Working knowledge of networking protocols and client/server technologies
