Role: Lead Engineer, Delivery

Location Conshohocken, PA (Remote Initial)

Duration: Renewable every 6 months

 

Job Responsibilities:   

• Strong experience in designing and developing ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.  
• Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers to be used during the ETL process.  
• Design and develop ETL solutions using data integration tools for interfacing between a source application and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.  
• Develops ETL technical specifications, designs, develops, tests, implements, and supports optimal data solutions.  
• Documents ETL data mappings, data dictionaries, processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards for data governance.  
• Integrates ETL development with existing projects to maximize object reuse.  
• Creates, executes, and documents unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs.  
• Work with the data analysis team to assess and troubleshoot potential data quality issues at key intake points such as validating control totals at intake.  
• Perform problem assessment, resolution, and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping, and workflows in the production  
• Troubleshoot data issues and defects to determine the root cause.  
• Performance tuning of the ETL process and SQL queries, and recommend and implement ETL and query tuning techniques.  
• Develop and create transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes, and process automation.  
• Hands-on experience in Reconciliation processes of data from source to final EDW warehouse.  
• Hands-on experience in Performance Improvement techniques using Informatica and SQL procedures.  
• Good understanding of reporting tables and coordination with reporting team to match premium/Brokerage Amounts.  
• Provide Data Analysis and find the root cause of any new or prevailing issues in the current Warehouse.  
• Help BI reporting developers with analyzing data sources, designing, testing, and implementing analytic reports and dashboards.  
• Communicates effectively with business partners to identify needs and evaluate options.  

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:  

• Minimum 9 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica.  
• 5+ years of experience working with high-volume databases.  

 

Tools Required:  

• Informatica Power center 10.x  
• Database like SQL Server, Oracle  
• Windows Batch Scripting/Unix Shell scripting
