Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality Data Engineering solutions
• Provide support in defining the scope and sizing of work
• Align the organization’s Data Engineering i solutions with their client initiatives as requested
• Engage with clients to understand data migration requirements
• Responsible for translating business requirements into technology solutions
• Work with domain experts to put together a delivery plan with and stay on track
• Organize all meetings with customers and ensure prompt resolution of gaps and roadblocks
• Stay current on latest technology to ensure maximum ROI for clients

 

Requirements

• Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL concepts
• Creating and defining; Pipelines, Datasets
• Understanding of variables and parameters and their use in creating dynamic pipelines.
• ADF orchestration concepts.
• Scheduling and triggering ADF jobs.
• Defining data mappings and complex transformation logic within Mapping Flows
• Understanding of Linked Services
• Experience with Databricks in Azure
• Understanding of using Pyspark and Spark-SQL to perform key activities.
• Create data frames from a variety of sources
• Perform transformations, filtering, data cleansing activities
• Experience writing PowerShell or another comparable scripting language
