Visa: USC/GC/H1B/GC-EAD/H4-EAD
Duration: 12 months on C2C
Job Description:
· 5+ years of experience in the AWS design and implementation of IT solutions at scale (including scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices architectures)
· Minimum 3 years of experience focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture
· At least 1 AWS Cloud Certification – Associate or Professional (preferred)
· 5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration, networking and troubleshooting experience
· Hands-on automation, DevOps and IaC experience
· Previous experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, as well as exposure to different architecture models.
· Hands-on experience with EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, S3
· Java Programming experience for automation
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, management and troubleshooting of all AWS resources utilized by the SaaS application
- Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Make impactful recommendations and develop technical direction and future state architecture
- Leading strategic projects end-to-end; working closely with engineering and product teams to determine and agree upon critical capabilities, required outcomes, definitions of success
- Capture and share AWS/cloud best-practice knowledge among the engineering teams
- Managing engineering project requirements and mapping those into a prioritized backlog based on impact/value and level of effort
