Position Title: Data Analyst - Provider
Location: Position will start remote BUT client would love someone local or willing to relocate once back onsite.
Contract Duration: long-term contract
Visa: NO H1B

Top 3 must have’s:
1.) Provider data experience required (3yrs)
2.) Experience supporting of data analysis, profiling, mapping of Government data.
3.) Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and CMS regulations.
The goal is to drive the improvement in the accessibility and quality of our data assets and tools and allow us to deliver data solutions faster than we do today. Our ultimate goal is to ensure our ability to grow is unconstrained by any limitations of our data. The data team is comprised of business and technical teams for Provider Data Domains as well as foundational enterprise data teams.
The Data Analyst –requires a candidate with strong data analysis skills to understand, document and analyze data within Provider data assets as well as document data requirements from source to target data mapping.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analysis and comparison across systems
• Perform data profiling activities to provide statistics and informative summaries for integration of new source system data into environment
• Build out data dictionary including data definitions, data values, and formats
• Establish data collection mapping process for multiple systems, in collaboration with Data Stewards
• Investigate/document data lineage throughout data lifecycle
• Extrapolate business rules based on data analysis and document analysis findings
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and create output reports for business use
• Work collaboratively with Business, IT, data modelers, data quality analysts, and delivery teams to analyze data
Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience performing data analysis
• 5+ years’ experience in producing data dictionaries content
• 5+ years’ experience working with data tools such as SQL, R, Python, SAS, and Tableau
• 3+ years’ experience with data profiling
• Ability to analyze large datasets
• Ability to create comprehensive reports
• Experience documenting/presenting data analysis findings
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience and working knowledge of data in a healthcare data management environment is a plus
