Full Stack Python Developer

Role:  Full Stack Python Developer (Richardson TX/RTP NC)

 

- Understand the architecture of existing solution performing vulnerability assessment on various cloud & Container deployments (on-prem: Open stack, OpenShift; Public: AWS, Azure, Google)

- Data management and analytics (ex: AWS Quicks Hight)

- hands-on experience in Python

- Webservices / REST API

- Good understanding and work experience with microservices-based solutions

- Hands-on experience DevOps solutions to deploy on OpenStack/container platforms

- Working knowledge related to platform security, app security, WAF would be added advantage

  

Roles and Responsibilities:

•            Identify potential improvement/optimization areas of the existing solution and implement

•            Evaluating emerging vulnerability assessment (as per industrial requirement) and converting it into an automated test script.

•            Release engineering activities and roll out the solution, maintaining remediation dashboard.

•            Handling customer queries with required remediation steps/playbook

•            Data management support for integrating with various sources of information

•            Add features to Analytics dashboard as applicable

•            Maintain DevOps pipeline, troubleshooting

•            Socialize / Demo with stakeholders

•            Maintaining the SLA of 100% vulnerability assessment coverage and runtime < 20 hours (when new items/scripts added, it may impact runtime, optimize it for meeting the SLA)

 

Desired Skill set

•            Strong python development, automation experience

•            CI/CD tools - Jenkins DSL/Groovy (Gitlab preferred), Terraform, Ansible

•            Open stack - Admin level and usage of APIs/CLIs to get required data/metrics

•            OpenShift - Admin level and usage of APIs/CLIs to get required data/metrics

•            AWS: Admin level : EC2, Fargate, Lambda, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, S3, Cloudwatch/Alerts/Metrics

Good to have:

•            Cloud security, OWASP

•            CCSP/CISSP certification + Python knowledge

•            Public cloud expertise: AWS/Azure/Google
