Description:

The candidate will work with a team of engineers or by him/her self to build, deploy, and support the infrastructure team pertains to AWS and other cloud oriented services. This individual will be responsible to ensure security, compliance and automation of applications/software hosted in AWS. You will have an opportunity to work with exciting, cutting-edge technologies that will enable us to deliver innovative, fast, scalable and reliable services to our customers. This role is to support the dynamic infrastructure our applications run on, and ensure stability, consistency and security of our Production systems.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
•   Build development Continuous Integration pipelines as instructed. Setup build plans, assist developers with failures and manage software configurations. Ensure end-to-end deployments succeed and AWS resources come up in an automated fashion.
•   Assist with Cloud environment setup and implementation plan.
•   Support developers with server troubleshooting and application errors due to environmental issues.
•   Debug Production Outages and take actions resulting from root cause analysis.
•   Monitor Production Environment and take action to keep systems stable and running.
•   Assist with Production Migrations (off-hours) and provide off-hour support when needed to troubleshoot problems with mission-critical applications.
•   Support developers with dev tools setup to enable application development, such as Git repositories or Monitoring tool configuration
•   Lead and participate in security reviews, audits, penetration tests, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modeling
•   Build a continuous audit solution to ensure adherence to security and compliance policies defined by for our central cloud services team
•   Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability for the solution
•   Lead the setup and configuration of CICD pipelines and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevOps practices as part of a CICD implementation
•   Recommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including scripting, integration, problem resolution, and configuration management
•   Plan and Lead DR exercises

Qualifications
•   Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience
•   Minimum 7 years of relevant overall experience and 4 years in an AWS environment
•   Have strong sense of ownership
•   Be focused, passionate, and strive to find simple solutions to complex problems
•   Sound understanding as a security consultant over requirements ranging from network, security, cloud, audit and assessment to security architecture and DevSecOps
•   Very strong understanding of the Application Security landscape and Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
•   Experience leading DevOps implementation in large programs especially integrating applications, reengineering and automating systems to improve end-to-end software life cycle management by means of automation.
•   Integrate application security into the software development along with CICD pipeline
•   Very strong technical knowledge of IT processes to include configuration management, networking, database management, application coding, availability, data center operations, etc.
•   Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ever changing requirements and prioritizations
•   Experienced in improving processes and documentations
•   Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•   Preferably certified in AWS skills
•   Experience with AWS Services like VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Batch, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, RDS, Athena, Glue, Redshift, CloudFormation, Route 53
•   Basic familiarity in: Bash, Powershell, XML, Web concepts such as REST APIs and SPA, HTTP Get and Post
•   Knowledge of Development tools and methodologies, such as XML config files, Rest API calls, HTTP Headers and Response Codes
•   Assist with Continuous Integration/Deployment Technologies: Atlassian Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, MSBuild, NUnit, GIT, Maven, Docker.
