Location- Estero, FL

Duration- Long Terms

Role- Contract

 

Job Description

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in designing and architecting distributed data systems
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks
• Experience in providing big data architecture, implement PoCs for strategic customer projects, data science and machine learning projects using Databricks
• Provide escalated level of support for critical customer operational issues in Databricks
• Architect, implement, and/or validate integrations with cloud services and other 3rd party applications using Databricks
• A strong track record of working with Databricks clients to make them successful
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills
• Comfortable with traveling to multiple customer locations
• Build and Author Databricks references architectures (Delta Lake and Lakehouse), ‘how-to’s, and demo applications for customers
• Expertise in Databricks and Databricks inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, SQL Analytics)
• Comfortable programming in, and debugging: Python, Java, SQL
• Have built solutions with public cloud provider AWS
• Software /Data Engineering skills: query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging Spark or other big data solutions.
• Data Scientist/ML Engineering skills: model selection, model lifecycle, hyperparameter tuning, model serving, deep learning, etc.
• Experience with Development Tools for CI/CD, Unit and Integration testing, Automation and Orchestration, REST API, BI tools and SQL Interfaces. Ex: Jenkins
• Expertise in the following:
• Data Engineering technologies (Ex: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Data Warehousing (Ex: SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)

• Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (Ex: Pandas, Scikit-learn, MLflow)
