Job Description:

HMS needs a Data Scientist to help them move 5/6 models off their current platform (Data Robot) to a legacy Python backend infrastructure as the Data Robot license will not be renewed.

Experience needed would be Python, SKlearn, Numpy.

 

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Big Data experience
• AWS or Azure experience
• We are seeking a talented Data Scientist I to develop and execute data driven research supporting data science initiatives. This role is integral to development and creation of both ad hoc analytic projects and the long-term development of machine learning models and system wide applications supporting both improved business and clinical outcomes. Candidates will be considered based on their ability to design modeling solutions that predict healthcare consumer behaviors and derive insights from big data. Candidates must be able to clearly communicate the results to non-technical users and be detail oriented. Candidates must pose strong understanding of data modeling (supervised and unsupervised), claims data analysis, healthcare quality reporting.
• This person would have strong experience with Python and any cloud experience would be a plus.  It is going to be a long-term open-ended contract.
