Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina
Duration: 6+ months Job Description: One of our prominent client is looking for a Technology Specialist / Technical Lead who can lead multiple development teams located at various geos.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in frontend as well as embedded system development technologies.
The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team.
Additional skills required are monitoring progress against strategic goals, measuring key metrics, communicating, and leading project teams as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the following:
· Gaining knowledge about Platforms and Product offerings across the business
· Collaborate within a cross-functional team of stakeholders such as Senior Leaders, System Architects, and Operations teams
· Support the Project teams in solving issues and mitigating risks with effective strategies and collaboration
· Understand the inter-dependability of the platforms, features and the impact of changes
· Mentor and coach team members on best practices, lean thinking, and continuous improvement
· Active participation in problem analysis and resolution
· Develop quality assurance procedures
· Deploying software tools, processes and metrics · Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
· Training new employees / customers / users
Skills/Experience:
· 9+ years of technical lead experience in high growth, complex environment
· Domain (Preferred Industry) - Payments, Point of Sales
· Expert in programming using Node.js in embedded systems
· High experience in writing Client / Server applications
· Strong experience with Node.js, CSS, HTML, HTML5, jQuery and libraries or frameworks such as React, Angular, Backbone
· Expert in Oops · Experience in POS solution Development. · Solid grasp and fluent in common design patterns
· Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL databases, Query development · Prior knowledge in TCP/IP, XML & WS protocols - Advantage
· Knowledge on OS environment such as Windows and Linux · Knowledge in working on Visual Studio environment
· Experience working in an Agile environment · Customer-facing team leadership experience is required
· Experience leading analytical resources offshore on projects and providing expertise in business development processes is preferred
· Strong communication skills · Focus on providing value to the customer and the customer’s customer
· Ability to build relationships with various customer stakeholders
· Have an open mind to learn and adapt to improving the team every day
